   What is Fractional Laser treatment?   

Using a Fractional CO2 laser, our doctor can deliver pulses to the skin which help remove dead skin cells and promote cell renewal. Due to the heat energy caused during the treatment, the device also stimulates collagen production, to help firm up the skin, but also break down scar tissue and improve movement for those having a higher-setting treatment.

How does Fractional Laser Treatment work?

The laser pulses places tiny holes in the skin. Columns of damage tissue are selectively removed, leaving surrounding skin intact and improve acne scars.

The treatment shortens healing time and stimulates the body own natural process of creating new collagen, plumping the skin from below and reversing photo-aging and reducing deep acne scars and other imperfections

What can I expect during Fractional Laser treatment?

Anesthetic cream is applied to make the patient comfortable. During the treatment, patient normally feels a mild stinging sensation.

Who is a candidate for Fractional Laser Treatment?

Skin imperfections due to aging and sun damage as well as those with acne scars will benefit from fractional CO2 laser.

How many Fractional Laser treatment do I need?

Patients are advised to do a series of 4-5 treatments, one month apart, though the results are noticeable even after the first treatment.

Is there any downtime?

Yes. There is a recovery time of one week which patients may feel redness and burning sensation. Most patients can return to work the same day with minimal make up and proper skincare application. Scab formation will take place over the next few days and may last up to one week depending on the degree of the treatment.
